Show notes

The show begins with a heartfelt message for beloved TMOS family member Jolene White as she takes on the fight of her life. Mike then delivers the full report on Michael’s fish-hook emergency, featuring an urgent care that apparently does not “do fish hooks,” an ER metal detector, and three separate people asking whether Mike was really the father. The hook finally comes out after some lidocaine, a tiny scalpel, and several determined yanks—and, most importantly, both the son and the treasured lure survive. Robb unveils his unsettling AI family album, placing present-day relatives beside their younger selves and aging Michael decades into the future for a father-son golf photo nobody requested. Plus, the boys meet AI Chip, investigate a Florida drone-related murder plot, expose Belichick’s four-upright trick, mourn melting football cleats, preview the Norm Macdonald documentary, and watch a trumpet player rescue the national anthem when his instrument gives up.

[SPEAKER_04]: And always surprises me when they are like mine that we are and we have really been keeping it under.

[SPEAKER_04]: Rapps for a while, the fact that one of our really, really all-time superbestist listeners, Jolene White, is battling cancer right now and we wanted to take this moment out and send our very, very, very best wishes to her.

[SPEAKER_04]: She has been an integral part of the fan club that is participating in the

[SPEAKER_04]: activities of the show.

[SPEAKER_04]: We have met her a number of occasions at different live events that we have done and she has been an absolute delight gets the joke, supports everything we do and she's in the fight of her life right now and we just want to say we love you, Jolene, we want you to kick its ass and we're all thinking of you and sending you all but very, very best, she's a sweetheart and

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, Josh doesn't know couldn't pick her out of a line of no Josh You know when bad things have no Josh was on the something to Josh The only one who actually spoke to her and that's that's very very cool.

[SPEAKER_03]: I know that's wonderful Yes, Jolyne did welcome me at Vegas by there were chocolates in my room when I arrived Well, that's right creepy, but also very nice

[SPEAKER_04]: But that's her business.

[SPEAKER_04]: kind of not even kind of we are we're an extended family on this show and we really, really band together and we have tremendous support network which I think is probably something I will miss the very most when I'm done doing this show.

[SPEAKER_04]: I just, there are a few people that really do stand out as far as participants and people that have made arrangements for us and done things for us and organized different live events for us and Jolene checks all the boxes for that.

[SPEAKER_04]: So we love you.

[SPEAKER_04]: Go out there and just beat the crap out of that horrible disease that touched

[SPEAKER_04]: it's so so many people this is nothing like that medically but I do want to follow up on yesterday with a giant thank you to urgent care which you see everywhere in these united states you

[SPEAKER_04]: So even everywhere in yesterday, when we blew up the show, when I blew up the show, in midstream because my son had stepped on a fishing lure and driven it into his big toe.

[SPEAKER_05]: It wasn't the time to ask yesterday, but was the stepping on the lure was the lure in his bedroom?

[SPEAKER_05]: Yes.

[SPEAKER_05]: Fairfoot, how did this go down?

[SPEAKER_04]: It was one of the, in first of all, I think any member of the family.

[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_04]: at any time could step on a piece of fishing uh paraphernalia in this house.

[SPEAKER_04]: I picked up a fish and hook on the kitchen floor to that if you have a Florida kid, yeah, they are all fishing.

[SPEAKER_04]: They're all fishing.

[SPEAKER_04]: They love fishing.

[SPEAKER_04]: They love fishing more than anything in the whole wide world.

[SPEAKER_04]: And my son who gets fishing lures for fun and sport, he gets fishing lures for his birthday.

[SPEAKER_04]: He gets fishing lures for Christmas.

[SPEAKER_04]: He goes out to Bass Pro shops and spends an hour in the fishing lure section, which I have no interest in being in.

[SPEAKER_04]: He has tackle boxes.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's a beautiful rack and he's got those and he is fish fish fish however

[SPEAKER_04]: He is also 13 years of age and these little fishing lures and hooks and weights and the leader and yeah all the stuff that's on there gets a you know strewn all over the place.

[SPEAKER_05]: Who was the buddy that came in yesterday to announce this was Kegan that was a little Kegan now Kegan.

[SPEAKER_05]: How did he handle it because he was pretty under control when he came in?

[SPEAKER_04]: Keegan's a tough kid, Keegan's a cool customer.

[SPEAKER_04]: He's the, he does color commentary on the, uh, he's brought kids.

[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_03]: And he's also a, uh, on the golf team with Michael.
