Show notes
Mike discovers that eight shiny mixer buttons are at least seven too many while trying to patch Carla into the show for the world’s creepiest prank-call recap. A tense morning at the batting cages turns into a full family summit, followed by an Elvis-worthy haircut and an eight-pound snow-crab investment that absolutely must surrender every ounce of meat. The boys revisit Mike’s finest fine-dining tricks—from shrimp-tail fingernails to personally narrating the dessert tray—before celebrating lunar impacts, underwear, and Josh’s nearly pocket-free lifestyle. Jimmy Cirrito becomes morning television’s favorite wingman, complete with cheesesteaks, poutine, and enough early-morning enthusiasm to wake the entire DMV. Robb then exposes an AI-powered inflatable-truck scam with a very real Apple Pay button, proving the only thing more dangerous than eight buttons is pressing “Buy Now” on a $500 pool float.

[SPEAKER_07]: What is that?
[SPEAKER_06]: You know what?
[SPEAKER_06]: That is something that I just found as I was prowling around my computer.
[SPEAKER_06]: But I like it.
[SPEAKER_06]: I like the smokey voice of that announcer.
[SPEAKER_07]: It's only the beginning.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, say in a world, in a world where- A little on Fontainee.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, the men consume 15 packs of tarot and cigarettes a day in a world, in a world.

[SPEAKER_06]: You know what?
[SPEAKER_06]: If you really want to know the hardest thing in broadcasting is getting a robot to say, Sroka, that's tough.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, much harder than it may be.
[SPEAKER_07]: Well, but yeah, I suppose you're right because I write my name if I wanted to be said by an announcer, I write it.
[SPEAKER_07]: M-E-R-R-A.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_07]: And it never misses.
[SPEAKER_07]: Uh, but you're sensitive.
[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, you gotta write S-I-R. Space R-O-K-A.
[SPEAKER_07]: I would say S-U-G-H.
[SPEAKER_07]: R-O-W-K-A.
[SPEAKER_07]: and put a hyphen in between the saw, the row, and like that.
[SPEAKER_07]: I think when I did that, there would go saw, row, cut.
[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, there was too much when I did that, I think.
[SPEAKER_06]: I think what I ended up doing was like, SSR, okay, you age.
[SPEAKER_06]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_06]: So a row, okay.
[SPEAKER_06]: And Josh, Mike is sensitive because he had to spend a long time on the air with a professional jingles thing that Ms. pronounced his name.
[SPEAKER_07]: And then we end up keeping them because Thomas had no big deal, right?
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, I'd that to me.
[SPEAKER_06]: Of course no big deal to him.
[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_06]: That to me is like a heartbreaking story.
[SPEAKER_06]: I truly truly is because you know, I was in the business a long time before I got a name shout or anything like that and I had to pay for it and it is it is a real at least back in the day.
