Show notes

"You never stood in that man's shoes

Or saw things through his eyes

Or stood and watched with helpless hands

While the heart inside you dies

So help your brother along the way

No matter where he starts

For the same God that made you made him too

These men with broken hearts."

[SPEAKER_10]: Michael Mera, Radio Entertainment.

[SPEAKER_01]: The higher you get the game, and then the analogy lobby is quite with us.

[SPEAKER_01]: We will start the show.

[SPEAKER_10]: TMOS, classic.

[SPEAKER_10]: Friday, Flashback.

[SPEAKER_10]: It's the Michael Mera Show.

[SPEAKER_09]: Mike.

[SPEAKER_09]: Rob.

[SPEAKER_09]: Hello.

[SPEAKER_09]: Mike.

[SPEAKER_09]: Hi, guys.

[SPEAKER_09]: Can you hear us okay?

[SPEAKER_12]: Can I hear you okay?

[SPEAKER_12]: Yeah, absolutely.

[SPEAKER_12]: I can hear you wonderfully.

[SPEAKER_12]: How's it going?

[SPEAKER_09]: Excellent.

[SPEAKER_09]: Well, you know what?

[SPEAKER_09]: You look great.

[SPEAKER_09]: You sound great.

[SPEAKER_12]: Thanks, Rob.

[SPEAKER_09]: a lot of works uh... been going on down here in flood i've been uh... as ever most of you might know i uh... i wired the studio myself now asker spent a lot of hours wiring up here asker how many hours do you think you spent i would say uh... a baker's dozen can you imagine that mic yes i can how long do you think you spent on your studio

[SPEAKER_12]: I probably put a good 15 or 20 minutes in over the weekend.

[SPEAKER_09]: Were there a lot of wires?

[SPEAKER_09]: Were there a lot of wires?

[SPEAKER_09]: Yes, Mike.

[SPEAKER_09]: Were there a lot of wires in your studio when you wired it over the weekend?

[SPEAKER_12]: Yes, Rob.

[SPEAKER_12]: I'm sorry, wait.

[SPEAKER_12]: I'm supposed to wait longer.

[SPEAKER_09]: You're supposed to pause.

[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_09]: That's the best.

[SPEAKER_09]: Can I rephrase the question?

[SPEAKER_12]: Can you rephrase the question?

[SPEAKER_12]: Yes, please.

[SPEAKER_09]: Sure.

[SPEAKER_09]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_09]: Where are you right now?

[SPEAKER_12]: I'm in my studio in Fort Myers, Florida.

[SPEAKER_09]: Well, the fidelity is great, but I think the most exciting thing is based on the new technology.

[SPEAKER_09]: The skip delay is a thing of the past.

[SPEAKER_09]: Wouldn't you agree?

[SPEAKER_12]: I sure would, Rob.

[SPEAKER_09]: It's like you're in the room, isn't it?

[SPEAKER_12]: Yes it is.

[SPEAKER_09]: Because you know in the past, we'd use something like Skype or even a telephone, but the advantages to this new technology and all these hours of work, they're really multi-fold.

[SPEAKER_09]: Mike, what is your favorite part of the new setup?

[SPEAKER_05]: Or definitely the audio quality.

[SPEAKER_10]: It's the Miko Nera Show.

[SPEAKER_05]: I just want to know what advice you have for young people coming up into the field.

[SPEAKER_05]: Like, a lot of our professors are telling us how hard it is to get into the field.

[SPEAKER_05]: I just like to know that you're in the field.

[SPEAKER_05]: Any advice on that?

[SPEAKER_05]: For instance, experience is that important?

[SPEAKER_04]: Sure.

[SPEAKER_05]: That is probably the most important.

[SPEAKER_04]: I think I think I'll pressure on the fire does it doesn't this before I don't want it to be as first surgery okay why don't self-well these are things that have come from the young MD okay I'm talking about drones, I'm field

[SPEAKER_04]: I'm lost, what do you mean?

[SPEAKER_05]: This journalism, I like, I'm a student at journalism at a college, and I'll just wanting the most important aspect of getting into journalism, not the medical field.
