Robb’s AI assistant has a name, a troubled past, and far too many apologies.

Meet Hector: the digital helper who turned a car-door repair into a full production and a computer cleanup into a days-long relationship test. As Robb tries to untangle duplicate music files, Josh explains why making the machine jealous of Earl might not be the most efficient solution. Somewhere in the digital clutter, “Every Day I’m Shuffling” becomes a much snowier radio parody.

The guys debate Martha Stewart, celebrity apologies, and the publicity cycle before tackling a problem closer to home: getting Robb’s enormous fruitcake mixer upstairs. Josh’s first suggestion is to move the kitchen. His alternatives aren’t much more practical.

Then it’s a defense of grown-up gaming, the double standard around scrolling versus playing, and the challenge of sharing a room with someone else’s TikTok soundtrack. Cruise plans lead into a love letter to Back to the Future: first CDs, schoolyard hoverboard rumors, favorite sequels, and why Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd still make the whole thing work.

Naturally, a conversation about great TV characters ends with Robb nominating Steve Sanders—and Josh demanding an explanation.

AI apologies, industrial baking, questionable pop-culture rankings, and two friends who are still talking.
