Show notes

Mike wonders whether phones are still worth getting excited about, and a two-grand foldable earns the devastating verdict: “slightly intriguin’.” Dirk marks Mike and Carla’s anniversary with a heartfelt poem, which mainly reminds Mike that he should probably start planning something. A 98-inch television leads to some very serious negotiations involving furniture, Frosted Flakes, and Mike’s completely reasonable desire to hide his ice cream from his own family. Robb takes us to Hungary for competitive grave digging, where tidy corners and backbreaking speed can earn you several hundred dollars and all the goulash you can handle. Plus, Josh crunches the numbers on football Down Under, the boys inspect Oklahoma’s finest dinner special, and a Piggly Wiggly hot bar gives us the closing feast we never knew we needed.

[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know whether I care about phones, and I think everybody has gotten to a point where a phone is as important as having as a thumb.

[SPEAKER_11]: I mean, you just have to have a phone.

[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, we're a lot more on them, right?

[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, you have to have your, you know, they're like breathing now, but I mean, you know, the idea of, ooh, look what this does, you know, who gets it flying.

[SPEAKER_03]: And we got to hold, you got to replace it every year.

[SPEAKER_03]: Exactly.

[SPEAKER_03]: You need the better camera.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_03]: Well, I think it's the battery.

[SPEAKER_03]: They always lean on the battery as well.

[SPEAKER_02]: Welcome, welcome to the Michael Matt.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, when they get to that point where you don't need cords and you don't need battery power or you have super bad then then talk to me.

[SPEAKER_02]: Otherwise, I don't care what happens in charge of it.

[SPEAKER_11]: My form runs on butane.

[SPEAKER_02]: Or is it like a car where they will innovate and then when they innovate, you try something and you go, oh, I like that.

[SPEAKER_02]: And then a year later, you can't live without it.

[SPEAKER_02]: That might be the case.

[SPEAKER_11]: Like you were with air conditioning in your car two years ago when he said this is fantastic when I have my very first car And it was after market after market that you had to install put it in

[SPEAKER_02]: We are very very very happy to have you along here.

[SPEAKER_02]: Even though I I tend to

[SPEAKER_02]: at least once a day, experience a modicum of guilt from that from a snarky comment, it can be a comment about me just go now, just get out of there or it can be a comment about you guys where they're saying, he will live 25 episodes and it's like I look over there and I am, you know, I am very much aware of

[SPEAKER_02]: You know the the negativity which which I think you could say all day long.

[SPEAKER_02]: I don't pay attention to it I don't watch what's written.

[SPEAKER_02]: I bet that we all do The biggest stars in the world do the biggest stars in the world.

[SPEAKER_02]: No if you're a super big star You don't necessarily have to So you don't pay attention to people now.

[SPEAKER_03]: I can't wait though to complain about everything.

[SPEAKER_03]: I think so I know you find a bad thing to say about it

[SPEAKER_11]: going back through all the years we've been together, Mike.

[SPEAKER_11]: I would say that one of the big driving forces of this show was people hating on it.

[SPEAKER_11]: That is something that people love to do.

[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_11]: They bring it and we could track it.

[SPEAKER_11]: We could track it by moving away.

[SPEAKER_02]: Right away, in some guy, I'm not dug uh dug, uh, dug, drop.

[SPEAKER_02]: Not going to say it.

[SPEAKER_02]: Not going to say that at all.

[SPEAKER_02]: I am going to ignore it.

[SPEAKER_02]: So ha ha.

[SPEAKER_02]: There you go.
