Show notes

Robb and Josh return from their Outer Banks boys’ weekend with tales of THC beverages, Coyote vs. Acme, two closed restaurants, and enough X-Men coin-pusher time to qualify as a residency. Mike investigates whether the wives were truly invited, whether Robb and Josh can survive breakfast together, and whether an arcade watch gets more valuable when it costs $104 to win. Michael makes Dad proud in the football broadcast booth—then his school hangs 60 points on the visitors before halftime and the other team declines to return. A TikTok sage explains that deodorant and cologne are why men can’t “pull baddies,” leading the guys to recommend the irresistible musk of Costco onions instead. Add ugly-pants choreography, vintage hot-dog manufacturing, dueling organists, and an NFL player who finally says what he thinks, and the show smells like a winner.

[SPEAKER_07]: We have your money then?

[SPEAKER_07]: Did you leave your money behind?

[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I have to.

[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, no.

[SPEAKER_06]: Were they playing like crap?

[SPEAKER_06]: We play a game where you four guys and you have one set of partners, that another set of partners, then the final set of partners.

[SPEAKER_06]: And I lost with all of them.

[SPEAKER_06]: Well, that's good, at least you're consistent.

[SPEAKER_06]: uh... welcome to the michael marriage show everybody we are delighted to have you here on uh... a two-day the two-day after labor day and uh... hopefully your labor day was uh... just duckie uh... i don't want to waste any time whatsoever uh... but i want to get right into the weekend of two of our principal cast members mister's syroca and spewak they from eastern europe don't you know both of them so

[SPEAKER_07]: Josh Lawson recipe.

[SPEAKER_06]: Polish.

[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, so here it is, folks, the brotherly weekend of Robin Josh, you know, you're good for you.

[SPEAKER_06]: I don't, I do work trips with the guys, you know, but this was just a hangout weekend based on two men who have become fast friends and will be continuing on with their

[SPEAKER_06]: fast Polish buddies and so last week, we were informed that they were going to be spending the weekend in the outer bags and as of yesterday when we communicated via text

[SPEAKER_06]: Rob was still there in the kitchen sitting across from Josh Soroka and that's when I informed you, you know, that house guests are like fish as my mom used to say after three days they stink.

[SPEAKER_07]: This is very true.

[SPEAKER_07]: I left very shortly after we took that was the end of the weekend.

[SPEAKER_07]: But what you should know is that I think when we left the listeners,

[SPEAKER_07]: They were under the impression that Carrie and I would be joining Josh and Kelly.

[SPEAKER_07]: And that's not how it turned out.

[SPEAKER_08]: It turned out to be a two person weekend as opposed to four as both wives decided it's not going to work.

[SPEAKER_06]: But to be fair, that's, you know, I could have had 70 different directions.

[SPEAKER_06]: The weekend would have, if you had asked me to predict, yeah, that both wives were there.

[SPEAKER_06]: Because I thought it was a given that Josh's wife would be there because she's there all the time, right?

[SPEAKER_06]: Right.

[SPEAKER_06]: It was.

[SPEAKER_08]: It was things, it's, it's hard to juggle like kids, calendars and stuff with split custody.

[SPEAKER_08]: And we have a sick dog.

[SPEAKER_08]: Get down.

[SPEAKER_08]: I get the off.

[SPEAKER_07]: So, sick dog was a new key ingredient.

[SPEAKER_07]: She didn't want to be far from the dog.

[SPEAKER_06]: Yes.

[SPEAKER_06]: Which way were we talking about?

[SPEAKER_07]: Well, let's talk just about Kelly first.

[SPEAKER_07]: Kelly.

[SPEAKER_07]: Then we'll talk about the dog.
