[SPEAKER_03]: I realized he was so angry at me for messing with TikTok when we got started yesterday.

[SPEAKER_05]: Well, it did sort of derail a little bit.

[SPEAKER_03]: And that's the charm of the show, isn't it?

[SPEAKER_05]: That's part of the charm.

[SPEAKER_03]: Text me, you know, write at the end of a game, and it's not you wouldn't welcome that nor would I. We're for, you know, we're an open wound at that particular moment. [SPEAKER_02]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_02]: And now I might do that during football season because they never, they don't play each other again. [SPEAKER_02]: So it's like the one game. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: With baseball, it's like, no, if you texted yesterday, by me, they'd come back here, as well. [SPEAKER_02]: They're still three more games to go. [SPEAKER_02]: It's a four game series. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, well there are. [SPEAKER_03]: And then, you know, you never know. [SPEAKER_03]: I will tell you that the emotional investment for the emotional investment for baseball and football are far different in the Omera household, because for football, it is, you know, there have been tears, there is cussing, there is door slamming, there is Carla going to the bedroom, said, I'm done, forget it, and my behavior is atrocious during NFL games. [SPEAKER_03]: Absolutely. [SPEAKER_05]: Did you have two dogs during the NFL game last year during the season? [SPEAKER_05]: what do you mean both dogs did you have both dogs because I know three before the season started what what I know is this is that my my late stepfather was a tremendous fan of the Dallas Cowboys and when they lost a kill them no and not during their best years to watch the game he'd have to get out of television antenna and though got to a point that every time the antenna came out their dog Otis would hide [SPEAKER_05]: It wasn't about turning on the TV. [SPEAKER_05]: He just associated the television antenna with a yelling person. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, I, I look, if now the way it is in our house, if the red socks are playing badly, I'll drift off. [SPEAKER_03]: I want something else. [SPEAKER_03]: I'll just, you know, but if it's a real, you know, nailed by her as you got how many people [SPEAKER_05]: How long have people held on to that with you saying it was an albider when we said you didn't know the term they were wrong then and they're wrong now, but the details of what happened is you asked when the Iowa game was on television it was Saturday game [SPEAKER_05]: and you texted me, and the score at that point was like, like, thirty to three or something like that. [SPEAKER_05]: There was a tremendous discrepancy in the point, and I said, it's on ABC, and it's a real nail biter. [SPEAKER_05]: I was speaking ironically, but sometimes that doesn't carry through on a text, because when it's a twenty point or twenty seven point difference, it's not really a nail biter, and you thought that I didn't know what a nail biter was, that I was sincerely saying it was a nail biter. [SPEAKER_03]: Did you establish that when we had the original. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, but no one listened ever We are a cranky cranky lot with this late. [SPEAKER_05]: All they did was listen and take a crap on me. [SPEAKER_05]: That's all they did [SPEAKER_03]: I'm going to brighten your day. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm going to really brighten your day. [SPEAKER_03]: Thank you. [SPEAKER_03]: With something that really brightens everybody's day. [SPEAKER_03]: And that's when something really embarrassing happens to me. [SPEAKER_03]: And it's not a big deal. [SPEAKER_05]: All right. [SPEAKER_03]: But it is. [SPEAKER_03]: It might not be a big deal to anybody else. [SPEAKER_03]: But it is to me. [SPEAKER_03]: And I'll give you the good news first. [SPEAKER_03]: And this is by the way, this is why the motto exists. [SPEAKER_03]: Don't get happy. [SPEAKER_03]: Right. [SPEAKER_03]: Because following that horrifically [SPEAKER_03]: embarrassing moment was a moment of great joy, which I will share with you also. [SPEAKER_03]: So here's the way it goes. [SPEAKER_03]: We take later in the day, and I, let's see, in the morning, I'm doing show prep, and then I go off to do what I do during the day, which is usually hit the egg, and then apparently Mrs. O'Mara, whilst heading out the door with my son this morning said, [SPEAKER_03]: She'll pick him up. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, that's great. [SPEAKER_03]: Whew. [SPEAKER_03]: Now, a few things going on. [SPEAKER_03]: Got a car in the shop. [SPEAKER_03]: A few things that, you know, are on my mind. [SPEAKER_03]: And all I was thinking about was usually when the one parent is dropping off at school, the other parents responsible for the poop machines, which are my two dogs. [SPEAKER_03]: The dog. [SPEAKER_03]: That's right. [SPEAKER_03]: And so that's all I was thinking about. [SPEAKER_03]: And there was no communication between us during the day. [SPEAKER_03]: So I [SPEAKER_03]: I missed the fact that she was picking up. [SPEAKER_03]: And so that meant both of us were on our way to pick up my son. [SPEAKER_03]: But that's not what really mattered. [SPEAKER_05]: What's always good Mike to have her redundancy in a plan. [SPEAKER_05]: So if something God forbid happened to either one. [SPEAKER_05]: So he told what happened to pick up. [SPEAKER_05]: Yes. [SPEAKER_03]: And I'm going to tell the I'm going to tell the whole truth here. [SPEAKER_05]: Nothing but truth right. [SPEAKER_03]: At Happy Valley, it's hot out real hot, like it's been hot for months. [SPEAKER_03]: It was so hot. [SPEAKER_03]: I saw a Robin dipping its worm in NST. [SPEAKER_03]: And I go in and since we're taping in the afternoon, I rarely do this. [SPEAKER_03]: I usually am in out because we got things to do with you fellas. [SPEAKER_03]: But for some reason today, a lot of politics was being discussed. [SPEAKER_03]: And I had not one, but I had two adult beverages. [SPEAKER_03]: I had two points of Guinness. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh yeah, the heat. [SPEAKER_03]: That's sure that will use that as the excuse. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, I know that actually, but no, you know what? [SPEAKER_03]: No, I'm going to tell that I have to read. [SPEAKER_03]: I have to edit and tell that nothing to do with the fact that politics was being discussed. [SPEAKER_03]: All right. [SPEAKER_03]: It just was and it really annoys me this time at annoyed me because it was so [SPEAKER_03]: I don't want people to be at a table with me and, you know, think they have to edit their thoughts, but I also don't want to feel like, you know, I'm part of the family, you know, when it comes to that. [SPEAKER_03]: So I got up and was walking out the door, right when another guy was arriving, I said, well, and I got up and I say, what I often say, well, I'll leave you fascists alone right now. [SPEAKER_03]: And that's why. [SPEAKER_03]: And the little laugh ensues, some laugh, some don't, and I'm out the door. [SPEAKER_03]: One would have sufficed in that kind of heat. [SPEAKER_03]: One would have been fine. [SPEAKER_03]: Two perhaps, you know, warm me out a little bit. [SPEAKER_03]: It's in the past. [SPEAKER_03]: It's four hours ago. [SPEAKER_03]: Do you ever drink on the course? [SPEAKER_03]: No, no. [SPEAKER_03]: Very rarely. [SPEAKER_03]: Very well. [SPEAKER_03]: There may be once in a blue moon, you know, for something, you know, somebody brings it up or, you know, I've had those days where, you know, usually that's a Saturday. [SPEAKER_03]: If that's going to happen. [SPEAKER_03]: You know, I'm just a little bit low-key, and all it's served to do when you have lunch and two beers is, you know, it's a C.S. [SPEAKER_03]: to time after, you know, after you get in the car. [SPEAKER_05]: Did you have the Chef Special today, the Benadroll Sandwich? [SPEAKER_03]: I had the thing that there's one particular person that hates the fact that I ordered, because I do obsessively compulsively order it, and I order it every day. [SPEAKER_03]: And I have ordered it every day. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, maybe four weeks. [SPEAKER_03]: Go right ahead. [SPEAKER_05]: Baked Alaska. [SPEAKER_05]: No, what do you order every day?
